Job Description

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will have to remain perfectly displayed and driven to achieve. You will be a natural people person who prides themself on building relationships. You will need to be motivated to learn through training and development. This is a unique role with genuine reward based upon merit. As we are a 7 day a week business, weekend work is required.

The Successful Applicant

You will be a strong senior sales person who works seamlessly within the team, achieves sales budgets, and is driven by gross profit. You will have extensive retail experience. You will be a merchant who knows how to drive sales, achieve amazing results and be proactive.

Position: Sales Full time x1 & Part Time x1 

Our Alexandria store located in the Alexandria Homemaker centre on O'Riorden St is seeking 2 new team members for an immediate start.

Ideally you have experience in the bedding and furniture category of at least 2-3 years.  While sales should be a passion, and second nature, you should get a buzz out of helping our customers find the right mattress for them.  Forty Winks places sleep and sleep solutions at the heart of everything we do. Our teams undergo regular training in sleep technologies and sleep science so we can proudly say we are the sleep experts.

  • Daily, weekly sales targets
  • Product merchandising and store presentation
  • Electronic POS and administrative functions
  • Inventory Control
  • Stocktake
APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS
  • Passion, enthusiasm and fantastic communication skills
  • Self motivated
  • Able to work to and manage KPI’s
  • Time Management skills
  • Able to work in a team
  • Your knowledge of the industry will be looked upon favourably but is not essential
  • Excellent Sales and Customer Service skills
  • Ability to work weekends is essential
