Choosing the right quilt

Where provided, check the quilt’s warmth rating alongside its fill and construction, so you can compare options at a glance rather than guessing from the fill alone. Some people also keep a lighter quilt for warmer months and a heavier one for winter. Simple, practical, and comfortable year-round.

• Store spares carefully: keep spare quilts and pillows in a breathable bag rather than sealed plastic, so they stay fresh while not in use.
