Wool, alpaca or Tencel?
These aren't just marketing terms, they behave differently on the skin. Wool breathes and regulates temperature across seasons, so it works whether you're a hot or cold sleeper. Alpaca is lighter and hypoallergenic, with a warmth to weight ratio that suits people who feel the cold but don't want a heavy quilt. Yes, Bambi is a family owned Australian company founded on the NSW Central Coast in 1984. Bambi manufactures a large proportion of its bedding locally at its West Gosford facility, alongside select imported ranges.
Bambi bedding is made from natural, renewable fibres including Pure New Wool, Alpaca, Tencel, Ingeo (corn fibre) and Cotton. Each fibre is chosen for specific comfort properties, from temperature regulation to moisture wicking, rather than one size fits all synthetics.
