What ultra firm means
Ultra firm is the label Sealy uses for the firmest end of its comfort range. The surface has very little give, so you stay on top of the mattress with your weight spread across a flat, steady base. It sits beyond firm and, depending on the brand, alongside other makers' super firm options. Comfort labels are not standardised, so two "very firm" mattresses from different brands can still feel different.
Ultra firm mattresses in our range

Back and stomach sleepers are more likely to enjoy it than side sleepers.
