About TEMPUR® adjustable bed bases
A TEMPUR® adjustable base is built to work with TEMPUR® material, so the mattress flexes with it whether you are lying flat, sitting up to read or resting in the Zero-Gravity position. The range runs from the quiet, simple Ease 4.0 to the Ergo Smart bases that notice snoring and respond on their own, in sizes from long single to queen, plus a split super king.
Ease, Ergo and Ergo Smart: the TEMPUR® base range
The TEMPUR® Ease 4.0 raises head and feet on silent drive motors, with a Zero-Gravity preset and a one-touch flat button for the end of the night. The Ergo 3.0 adds a set-your-own lumbar zone, an anti-snore position, a relaxation mode and USB fast charging. The Ergo Smart detects snoring and lifts your upper body twelve degrees automatically, runs a relaxation ritual before bed and times its alarm to your lightest phase of sleep. The Ergo Pro Smart does all of that and adds two-zone vibra-acoustic relaxation that lets the base double as a soundbar. Prices start from $1,399 for the Ease 4.0.
Snore detection and smart sleep features
On the Ergo Smart and Ergo Pro Smart, the base senses snoring and lifts your upper body twelve degrees on its own, without either sleeper touching a remote. The smart alarm is timed to your lightest phase of sleep, which many people find gentler than a fixed alarm. The relaxation modes help you unwind before bed, and on the Pro Smart, two-zone vibra-acoustic relaxation lets the base double as a soundbar. These are comfort features, not medical devices, and they are easiest to judge by trying them in-store.

Sizes, split bases and fitting it to your bedroom
TEMPUR® bases come in long single, king single, double and queen, plus a split super king made from two super king long single bases so each side adjusts independently, but not every model is offered in every size, so check the product page for the one you want. Check the internal dimensions of any bed frame and the clearance the mechanism needs before you order, and use a stretch mattress protector so the bedding moves with the base. On the Ergo Smart and Ergo Pro Smart, the base senses snoring and raises the head of the bed by about twelve degrees on its own, without anyone touching a remote. It is a comfort feature, not a medical treatment, so ongoing snoring is still worth discussing with your doctor.
