TEMPUR® mattresses
NASA-Born Comfort, Made in Denmark. Most mattress stories don't start with space travel. TEMPUR®'s does. TEMPUR® Material grew from technology originally developed for NASA, then spent decades being refined for sleep. Every TEMPUR® mattress is made in Denmark and backed by a 10 Year Full Replacement Guarantee. At Forty Winks you'll find the TEMPUR® mattress range, including CoolQuilt mattresses exclusive to Forty Winks.
From space technology to your bedroom.
TEMPUR has a rather unusual origin story. In the late 1960s, NASA scientists developed a material designed to absorb pressure during space flight. TEMPUR's founders saw its potential for mattresses and developed TEMPUR® Material. In 1998, NASA recognised the company and its products for adapting the original technology for everyday use. From space research to your bedroom. Not the usual journey for a mattress material.
What TEMPUR® Material actually feels like
TEMPUR® Material responds to your body's shape, weight and movement, creating the distinctive body-conforming feel the brand is known for. TEMPUR Pro mattresses also carry MADE IN GREEN by OEKO-TEX® certification, covering testing for harmful substances and production in environmentally friendly facilities under socially responsible working conditions. There's science behind the feel, and detail behind the materials.
CoolQuilt gives you a few ways to TEMPUR.
CoolQuilt gives you a few ways to explore that familiar TEMPUR feel. The Forty Winks range includes CoolQuilt Pro, Pro Plus and Pro Luxe mattresses, with Soft, Medium and Medium/Firm options across selected models. A breathable, temperature-focused cover is part of the design. Different models still have their own feel, so it's worth spending a little time comparing them.
TEMPUR is one of those brands you need to feel.
TEMPUR® Material has a distinctive feel, and words can only explain so much. The best way to understand it is to lie down and give yourself a moment to notice how it responds. Our trusted Sleep Advisors can help you compare the options and explain what makes each one different. Take your time. This is one of those decisions where a proper try tells you more than another paragraph ever could.
