About plush mattresses
Prefer a mattress with more cushioning at the surface? Plush mattresses are designed to give you a softer, more cushioned first feel while the support system works underneath. Try a few, because 'Plush' can mean something quite different from one range to another.
Plush describes a softer, more cushioned mattress surface. It does not mean the mattress has no support; the underlying support system is separate from the comfort feel.
No. Firmness describes how the mattress feels at the surface, while support relates to how the mattress responds to your body. A firmer feel is not automatically more suitable.
Try different comfort feels in your usual sleep position. Forty Winks bedMATCH® can recommend suitable support levels first, then you can choose the comfort feel you prefer.
No. Comfort labels are not standardised across every mattress brand, so two mattresses carrying the same firmness description can feel different.
