Yes. Southern Cross and Flinders Street stations are nearby, with tram and train options connecting South Wharf to the CBD and surrounding suburbs.
No. Walk-ins are welcome. If you are shopping for a mattress, a trusted Sleep Advisor can take you through Forty Winks bedMATCH® and help narrow the options.
Forty Winks bedMATCH® is our patented diagnostic system, exclusive to Forty Winks. It uses more than 1,000 scientific calculations across 18 body measurements to help determine your individual postural support needs. Your trusted Sleep Advisor can use those results to guide a personalised shortlist, then you can compare comfort and feel for yourself.
Forty Winks South Wharf sits inside DFO Homemaker Hub, a short hop from the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre and the city. The showroom has more than 80 mattresses and bedroom suites, so it works for very different shoppers, from students watching the budget to customers looking for a premium set-up. The useful part is that you do not have to arrive knowing what you need. Amanda and the team can help make the range feel much smaller, much faster.
Amanda works alongside Wendy and Jane in a team that prefers useful questions to a rehearsed sales pitch. Tell them how you sleep, what is bothering you, what you have already tried, and what you want to spend. A trusted Sleep Advisor can then use Forty Winks bedMATCH® to help with support and walk you through the options without assuming the most expensive mattress is automatically the right one.
South Wharf gets a mix of shoppers that changes by the hour: locals, apartment dwellers, students, workers, and people already in the precinct for something else. The range needs to cover plenty of budgets, but the process does not need to feel scattered. Forty Winks bedMATCH® helps with support, a trusted Sleep Advisor helps translate the options, and you can spend your time comparing the mattresses that actually deserve it.
Couples do not always arrive with the same wish list. One person might sleep hot and prefer a firmer feel, while the other wants more cushioning at the shoulder and hip. The South Wharf team can talk through split or zoned options, including MySide, and help you compare what changes on each side. The goal is not to make both people settle for the middle. It is to find a set-up that gives both sleepers a fair go.
